Page Building With Thrive Architect
You can build a page with Thrive Architect in two ways. You can either use a pre-designed Landing Page Template or you can start from scratch with a Blank Template. Both ways are valid. You just need to decide which one you want.
While creating a new page, choose the Edit with Thrive Architect button:

After clicking on this button, a new window opens which looks like this:

At the top of the page, you will see default header menu and page title which you wish to see from your theme.
On the left-hand side of the page, you will observe the Thrive Architect Menu which can be shifted to the right-hand side if you wish. From this menu you will drag-and-drop elements onto your page.
Page Setups
The initial setting of your landing page is done by Page Setup option.

Landing Page setting
Landing page setting lets the user change or select the fonts, background color and lets them add scripts like Google Analytics, Facebook retarget pixel or any other tracking scripts on the home page.

Using and Changing Landing Page Template
Thrive Architect comprises of several pre-made templates that can be used straight away. It just needs little modification in the template to suit your business.
All the Thrive landing pages are grouped into templates sets. There are currently 26 pre-made landing page template sets. In this Thrive Architect Review, I am going to list down all the landing pages of those sets.
- Mini Squeeze page
- Lead generation page
- Thank you page
- Webinar registration
- Confirmation page
- Webinar thank you page
- Webinar replay page
- Podcast sales page
- Video sales page

You can also download more landing pages from The Landing Factory. They have 250 of pages designed for Thrive Architect.
The chosen template can be customized with “what you see is what you get” WYSIWYG visual editor.
Each page constitutes of elements like Text, Button, Heading, Icon, etc. As soon as an element is selected on a page, its editing option appears in the sidebar menu.

In the above image, I have selected Heading element. In it, we can change the layout, text and the position. We can also add a border, apply a background style and many other things.
In the image given below, there is a customized template after changing the heading color, paragraph font, and button color:

Creating your own page
Sometimes, it is better to create your own image from the scratch and starting your page like a clean canvas. There are three powerful and flexible design elements that can be used to build a page. Understand these elements in my Thrive Architect Review here:
- Full-width background
Believe me, it is really a big deal! You don’t get this element on all page builders. Select “Stretch to fit screen width” and have a full-width background in all WordPress theme.

In this, you can add any number of layers of the effects you want. Other layer options include a pattern, and a video background.

When you are using full-width background section and two columns, a vertical split screen effect can also be created. It will look like this:

- Content box
It is a dual-purpose design element in Thrive Architect. It functions as a content container for holding multiple elements that need to be treated in the same manner and also, to highlight important parts of the content.

By using the drag-and-drop handle, the context box can be moved onto the background section.

In the above image, I have edited the border of the content box and have also applied a colored background to the content box.
- Testimonial
When you add a testimonial to your page, it demonstrates that you are more social. Thrive Architect has two Testimonial templates that can be used by you. They are:

Though there are limited templates but the customization options are endless in these templates.
Add Lead generation options
‘Generating leads’ is the most common goal of landing pages.
There are two types of lead generation methods in Thrive Architect that you can use for your landing page.
- 1-step opt-in
1-step opt-in is the default Lead Generation method in Thrive Architect.
You can drag-and-drop the Lead Generation element from the sidebar onto your page while creating your own landing page.
You can choose between stacking the fields vertically or horizontally if you are not using the landing page template. But if you are using the landing page template, the Lead Generation element will be in place already. Look below:

- 2-step opt-in
It is the second Lead Generation Lead Generation method available in Thrive Architect, which uses the built-in Thrive Lightbox features.
Choose the element you want to be the trigger and then use the Animation & Action option to invoke a Lightbox.
Email service Merger
No matter which method you use to capture email addresses, you will have to connect the Lead Generation from your email service.
Thrive Architect lets the users connect to their email services through API or an HTML form:

These are the email marketing service which you can connect using API with Thrive Architect.
- Active Campaign
- Arcreach
- Aweber
- Campaign Monitor
- Constant Contact
- Drip
- GetResponse
- HubSpot
- iContact
- InfusionSoft

And many other platforms keep on coming in the list to make the plugin more accessible.
MOBILE RESPONSIVE PAGES
Whether you build your page from the scratch or you use a template, every page built with Thrive Architect is mobile responsive.
There are three extra mobile responsive features in Thrive Architect that lets the users create unique pages.
- Sneak peak your pages on different screen sizes

- Switch the visibility of elements and entire content block
You can choose which elements you want to show and which elements you want to hide in a content box having multiple elements. For example, in the picture below, the icon element will be visible on Desktop and Tablet but hidden on Mobile.

- Alter every detail
The position and the layout can be modified for different screen sizes without having to create duplicate elements with the show/hide option.
Conversion Elements
Aside from the above mention building blocks of Thrive Architect, there are few more conversion-focused building blocks. In my Thrive Architect Review, you will learn them all.
- Countdown timers– To make your landing page more convincing and show the urgency of your pages, you can choose from 3 pre-made countdown timers.
- Credit Card Icon- Add pre-made, fully scalable credit card icons under your buy now button and create more trust.
- Content Reveal- Hide content blocks box until a certain amount of time has elapsed.
- Style List- You can use bullet points with custom icons to present you selling points concisely.
More Components
Apart from the above listed elements, there are many more components which can be used to create any page. I am listing down some of the most usable ones:
- Click to Tweet– This encourages the users to share the content on social media when the click on the paragraph.
- Google Map– This option is great for local business. It can be used if you are using this plugin to design your company’s page where you have some physical address.
- Divider: Divide the two elements lines by inserting divider line.
