  1. Pay attention to the headlines

Headlines are of foremost importance while crafting a blog. A proficient reader will spare only a split second to decide whether to read the article or not. And many a times it happens that the reader shares an article not after reading it but by seeing the title itself.

Therefore, spend a little more time to decide the title of your article.

  1. Post as frequently as possible

Studies have proved that the more frequently you post, the more traffic you drive to your blog. So if you want to drive more traffic, try updating your blog at least twice or thrice a week. And don’t forget to make your content compelling as quality content is of prime importance.

  1. Long Tail Keywords also deserve focus

Long tail keywords are keywords or key phrases that are more specific and usually longer than more commonly searched for keywords.

These keywords help you in connecting with your audience well.

There are many tools available online to find a wide range of long tail keywords, but I personally take help from .

  1. On-page optimization

On-page optimization (AKA on-page SEO) should be done in a way that includes both, your primary as well as long tail keywords. However, the density of these keywords should be used in the most advantageous way that it helps your site to rank amongst the top searches.

To make your blog site compelling, link it to other websites.  This will give your readers a more well-rounded experience as it will give provide them with all the information needed for their blog or website. Also, the company you linked might notice you and link back to you.
